Who We’re Looking For
Toyota’s Motor Manufacturing Alabama (TMMAL) is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Production Control Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead new model launch activities from planning to production along with supporting other functions of production control.
Reporting to the Production Control Manager for PPM, Planning, Packaging and General Stores the person in this role will support the Production Control Department’s objective to [provide a safe, customer focused environment, driven by a process and KPI reporting mindset that is able to successfully prepare & launch new projects].

Who We’re Looking For

What You’ll Be Doing
- Support new model launches, trials and build outs through the development and management of master schedules. This includes milestone coordination with all other departments (PE, Prod, IL, QE, QC, HR, Safety, Facilities & TMNA Groups)
- Organize and lead project management meetings (Obeya, Working Groups, Leader’s Mtg., Milestone Mtgs.) for all new projects
- Develop and manage PC department Operation Plan (Shikumi)
- Complete initial setup of usage of PC Systems (PSMS, GUALC, EKanban)
- Take initiative to problem solve and kaizen while working effectively with the PC & Project teams
- Flexibility and commitment to above responsibilities with require up to 40% overtime at peak times
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Self-driven leader with excellent time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple items at one time and visualize status of these items
- Ability to create written and verbal reports for the executive team on a weekly basis
- Experience using advanced functions in Microsoft Excel & Access
- Experience with project planning & schedule management
- Experience with inventory management
- Experience in manufacturing / supply chain management
- Willingness to question the status of other departments
- Problem solving and process improvement experience
- Ability to work extra hours to support production / project needs
- This position requires driving. A motor vehicle record that’s acceptable by company standards is required for this position
- Project planning and leading experience at a Toyota Unit Plant
- Experience with SMS, PSMS, GUALC, EKANBAN, Mainframe, One Way Kanban, TPROMS
- PowerBI or another database
- Demonstrated experience in negotiation, consensus building, and strong ability to prioritize resources while exceeding customer expectations
- Experience using KPIs for goal setting and process management
- Quality Circle or other problem-solving certification
