Responsibilities:
- Provides high level of service to internal and external customers in a time sensitive nature.
- Ensures all warranty parts procedures are strictly adhered to including but not limited to, proper parts return stamp on all repair orders; failed part collection prior to issuing new part; secure and properly label all warranty return parts for warranty manager.
- Ensures all parts are properly stocked in correct bins at ALL times, no part should ever be out of proper location. If found out of location; parts should be returned or relocated immediately.
- Ensure that no part ever leaves the department without being billed out.
- Maintains stocked shelves for fast moving items and technician retrieved parts.
- Participates with the parts manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.
- Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other relevant parts and accessory related information.
- Pulls and fills all necessary parts for repair orders. Delivering parts to technicians when jobs are active, or shelving for techs when vehicles are not yet assigned.
- Notifies parts manager of low and out-of-stock parts or shop materials.
- Notifies service advisor and customer when special order parts have been received.
- Follows up on back-ordered parts.
- Ensures all internal requests for parts are billed accordingly.
- Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorizations.
- Follows through with returns and core returns on all non-OEM and aftermarket parts.
- Helps to maintains clean and well-organized department.
- Accurately quoting parts for repair orders.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- CDK Experience is a plus but not a necessity.
