Our Expectations:
- Thoroughly perform multipoint safety inspections on all vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Implement efficient and accurate work as outlined on repair orders.
- Communicate effectively with the parts department to obtain necessary vehicle parts.
- Collaborate closely with service advisors to provide regular updates on vehicle status.
- Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
- Road test vehicles when required.
- Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Ensure that customer vehicles and work areas are kept clean and organized.
Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Previous experience in automotive repair and maintenance is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance is required.
- Ability and desire to continually learn and improve mechanical skills.
- Certification or willingness to obtain certification in ASE standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
- Strong customer service skills are required.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- High school diploma is a minimum educational requirement.
