Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s IT Service Delivery and Relationship Management Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Manufacturing Digital Solutions Training Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to Lead strategic training initiatives to enhance proficiency in industrial digital solutions, including Power Platforms and Ignition, by designing and delivering training, mentoring participants, continuously improving the program, and assessing effectiveness.
Reporting to the Shop Engagement Manager the person in this role will support the IT Service Delivery and Relationship Management department's objective to equip manufacturing teams with the resources needed to confidently develop and deploy digital solutions on the shop floor.
What you’ll be doing
- Facilitate skill development through hands-on workshops, structured training sessions, personalized mentoring, and open office hours.
- Design, create, and continuously improve training resources, including guides, tutorials, and supplemental materials.
- Evaluate participant progress, gather feedback, and apply kaizen principles to enhance curriculum and training programs.
- Promote collaboration across departments to maximize the impact of Power Platforms and Ignition, fostering knowledge sharing, yokoten, and integrated workflows.
- Ensure training materials and resources remain relevant, accessible, and continuously updated to meet evolving needs.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field; Minimum 3 years’ work experience.
- Toyota manufacturing experience required
- Proficiency in Power Platform tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Strong background in adult learning principles, instructional design, and hands-on training facilitation
- Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs in a manufacturing environment.
- Certified in Agile project management
- Demonstrated ability to assess training needs and evaluate effectiveness
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and promote knowledge sharing.
Added bonus if you have
- Experience in project management, particularly in the context of training initiatives.
- Experience with implementing Kaizen or continuous improvement practices.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and their application in training development.
- Proficiency in managing learning management systems (LMS) and overseeing content development.
