What we're looking for
Reporting to the Toyota Strategy and Training Manager, the Retail Experience and Field Marketing Senior Analyst will have the responsibility for coordinating, managing, and leading dealer launch activities for Toyota SmartPath dealers. This position includes travel to Toyota dealerships and field offices, which can be 50-75% of the time. The SmartPath team is looking for team members who are living within driving distance to the Plano, Texas headquarters in order to easily support the hybrid work policy.
What you'll be doing
The primary responsibilities of this career position are to coordinate the SmartPath launch at new dealerships, train dealership personnel on the SmartPath tools, and teach stakeholders on the new enhancements in the SmartPath program. Toyota SmartPath is a complete and seamlessly integrated online and in-store digital retailing solution for Toyota's guests and dealers. SmartPath is an enterprise-wide program that will contribute to a more inspiring, innovative, and exciting Toyota by creating the #1 retail experience for dealerships and future Toyota guests. This experience will leverage insights, digital tools, and services co-developed with dealership personnel, Toyota Financial Services, field organizations, and our IT department. SmartPath will position our dealerships to meet the guest's expected retail experience, which is timely and transparent both on-line and in the dealership.
What you bring
- Work with Toyota dealers and Field personnel to coordinate and manage the SmartPath dealer launch process, from the initial dealer kickoff meeting through the sustainment training.
- Lead and facilitate remote SmartPath dealer training sessions as part of the SmartPath Pre-Launch dealer activities.
- Lead and facilitate dealer training as required during SmartPath launch week, either remotely or in person.
- Conduct demos of the SmartPath product suite for Toyota dealers and Region personnel as required.
- Support multiple Toyota Regions and manage a portfolio of between 5-10 dealers at any one time through various stages of the SmartPath launch lifecycle.
- Facilitate and communicate the resolution of dealership technical and systems issues with SmartPath Technical Support team.
- Communicate SmartPath program updates (e.g., new functionality, program pricing, technical issue resolution) as required to dealers and Region team members.
- Work with Toyota dealers and Region team members to identify critical business metrics to measure the overall success and dealer adoption of SmartPath.
- Assist SmartPath dealers and Toyota Regions with ongoing training, change management, and process improvement activities as required.
- Serve as a SmartPath subject matter expert (SME) for the SmartPath product suite.
- Learn and demonstrate mastery of new SmartPath product functionality.
- Provide timely communication and feedback to your reporting manager on SmartPath launches.
- Follow up with dealers and drive completion of SmartPath launch activities to ensure adherence to SmartPath launch schedule.
- Coordinate with other Launch Leads to share learnings, and best practices, and create process improvements.
- Help train and onboard new team members both in the DEAL team and Regions.
- The Kaizen of multiple processes with either newly created or updated Operational Procedures pertaining to the core job functions.
- Participation in cross-functional activities with other departments to find ways to solve problems and find efficiencies.
- Team member should look for opportunities to further involve themselves in the interaction with managers throughout the Marketing Department.
- The Dealer Engagement and Launch team needs team members to provide leadership outside of the core job functions and seek new tasks to benefit the group.
- For additional future growth, team members will be asked to make presentations on various projects and to present activities undertaken on a given project.
