Location: Somerset, KY
Reporting to the TTAI Human Resources Manager, this position is responsible for supporting Toyotetsu America, a 2-shift, 900 team member automotive manufacturing facility over the full lifecycle of HR duties such as recruiting, team member relations, HR and policy administration, and HR project implementation.

Position Responsibilities Cover Multiple Areas of HR and Can Include the Following:
- Manage the HR team and serve as acting backup for HR Specialist functions.
- Conduct recruitment efforts for salaried, hourly, and variable workforce team members and develop strategies for successful manning.
- Build strategic partnerships with staffing agency vendors for staffing needs.
- Coordinate team member relations, coach supervisory and management group for effective team member relations and develop HR Specialists.
- Assist in budget planning and operation.
- Administer various HR programs, perform HR system administration, and performance and compensation management process, and compliance requirements.
- Provide team member support on performance, policy compliance, and team member concerns.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree preferred in Business or Human Resources relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Subject Matter Expert level knowledge of HR compliance regulations such as Department of Labor and state statutes.
- 3-5 years of experience of HR activities required.
- 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Proven ability to be solution-focused with ability to identify problems and drive toward appropriate solutions.
- Exhibits and demonstrates strong leadership and influencing skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and listening skills required.
- Proven ability in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel preferred; must be eligible for US passport with ability to travel to Canada or Mexico (travel would be rare but could still possibly occur).
