Description
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in monitoring the production schedules to ensure product(s) are manufactured and scheduled delivery dates are met in order to plan department operations.
- Assist in establishing priorities for production.
- Preview production and operating reports and resolve operational manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays as needed.
- Develop and work with Assistant Managers and Group Leaders in all areas such as Team Member relations, problem solving, setting and achieving goals, manufacturing processes, scheduling, equipment problems, etc.
- Work closely with departments in the areas of safety and quality. Ensures programs are maintained, the department is in compliance with the standards, and the appropriate training is effectively given to all Team Members.
- Provide assistance to Team Members, Group Leaders, and Assistant Managers in solving work-related problems. Evaluate the issue and consults management and/or Human Resources as needed to determine the most effective solution.
- Develop and revises standard operational and working practices and observes Team Members to ensure compliance.
- Review and approve shift report for daily distribution including daily KPI’s.
- Coordinate monthly reporting on shift KPI’s and Target vs Actual.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
College degree is required or five (5) years of manufacturing experience in a supervisory role and high school diploma or G.E.D., or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
