JOB SUMMARY
Assist EHSS Management with daily plant operations in the area of Health, Safety, and Security
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are limited to the following:
Health and Safety
Participate in annual Fire extinguishers, Sprinkler, and State Fire Marshal inspections
Coordinate and participate in Safety activities daily
Participate/conduct new team member and contractor safety training
Maintain KPI reports and update visual boards as needed
Supply front desk with PPE for visitors & replace flags in front of building as needed
Train in general safety
ENVIRONMENTAL
Check outfalls and ditch drains after it rains
Arrange for die wash pit to be pumped and cleaned out
Walk through (look at waste storage areas, recycling areas, plant, etc.)
Check wastewater tank (call vendor if above 4,000 gallons) & check 500-gallon wastewater holding tanks (N & SE of building)
Check scrap wood and recycling hoppers outside building
ISO 14001 items (significant and all other aspects), surveillance and re-certification audits
Conduct spill kits inspections, fire extinguisher inspections, and eye wash inspection & follow up activities
SECURITY
Manage ID access control badges, print card access reports for management and enable/disable access as needed
Review cameras (video, position of cameras & operations) as well as review camera recordings
Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
High School diploma and Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a related position and demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job
