The opportunity:
The Sales Assistant will be reporting to the Regional Sales Director and based in Orlando. You will, together with a diverse team of fun and dedicated colleagues, be responsible for general customer support, and order management assuring smooth-running of order fulfillment and securing the operational logistic flow in that regard. Ultimately, your key responsibility will be to support the Sales Managers in order fulfillment.
The primary tasks:
- Processing Sales Orders when a Team member is out of office.
- Order handling and data discipline i.e., obtaining credit card payments, sending pro-forma invoices, gathering compliance statements, sales tax certificates.
- Filing transactions in the company’s ERP system, (Quantum Control)
- Follow up on placed orders with our repair stations or distribution department to provide status updates to our customers and working with Warehouse operations to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
- Monitoring and proactively following up on aging accounts receivables in case action is needed.
- Coordinate with the quality department and Repair and Asset Managers on warranty cases together with the responsible Sales Manager
- Review and monitor Open order daily to ensure orders are progressing through the various status changes accordingly and ensuring promised delivery dates are achieved.
- Follow up with customers on exchange cores due along with making sure all the trace paperwork is received to avoid late charges to customers.
- If any received cores are deemed BER (beyond economical repair) then need to advise responsible Sales manager and work together in obtaining a replacement core from customer or make sure the customer is invoiced for the BER core if no replacement is obtained.
- Assisting the South American Sales Manager back office in entering sales quotes and sales orders (not responsible for selling)

Qualifications:
We are seeking a Sales Assistant who can identify with the description below:
- Extensive work experience in Customer Service or other Sales assistant-related positions
- An associate degree or similar or have a couple years of experience from a similar position.
- Aviation background is a plus.
Skills and Attributes:
- You are a structured and responsible person with high work ethics and thrive in a high-pace environment.
- You are service minded, have data entry discipline, and would describe yourself as a team-player with great interpersonal skills.
- You pay attention to details and have problem solving abilities.
- Experience in logistics, aviation or customer service is an advantage but not a requirement.
- You know your way around a computer and have solid working knowledge of MS Office. Expert level in MS Excel would be an advantage but not a requirement.
- You are fluent spoken and written English.
- You are fluent spoken and written Spanish.
