Our Programs Department currently supports around 80 airline customers around the world, covering a total of more than 1000 aircraft.
The opportunity
As the Director of Global Program Management, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the global program management team and securing effective execution of our programs through focus on commercial and operational KPIs and customer experience. This includes providing commercial support and further evolve the programs across all key regions.
Your role will involve ensuring that the service we deliver to our customers is of the highest quality, and that the programs deliver on both operational and financial targets. This requires close collaboration and strong cooperation with a number of internal stakeholders, including finance, engineering, supply chain and operations.
As a leader, you are motivated about our common goals, and you enjoy creating strong relations across functions while driving improvements and best practices within your area. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of currently seven Program Managers, located in Copenhagen, Orlando and Singapore.
The primary tasks:
- Oversee all active programs globally, and though your team ensure high customer satisfaction and program profitability.
- Drive development and improvement projects across functions and establish best practices within the function.
- Collaborate with our finance department on creating and maintaining a strong controlling of our programs and drive potential improvement initiatives.
- Lead the Program Management team globally, ensuring that all team members are trained and equipped to drive the continuous development of their assigned programs according to customer and business needs.
- Establish and drive yearly operational plans in line with the company strategy for Program Management globally.
- Use our strong relationship to gain customer feedback to identify needs and enhance our service and general value proposition.
- Lead the charge in delivering insightful monthly reports and executive summaries that directly inform and influence the Executive Management and Board of Directors.
We seek a team member that can identify with the description below,
- Educational background (3-5 years) in business, sales, management discipline, or similar.
- 7 years of experience within Program/Account Management or Sales.
- Strong managerial experience, preferably from leading a global team.
- Excellent knowledge of IT systems, including working with ERP systems.
- Experience from the aviation industry is an advantage, but we welcome applicants from relevant industries.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong change management skills to efficiently drive changes through motivation and trust-based management.
- Customer oriented with a commercial mindset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for interpreting data and generating actionable insights to drive strategic decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex subjects to a diverse audience, including senior leadership.
A few practicalities about the job:
- The position is located in Copenhagen, Denmark. We are open to applicants from other EU countries.
- You should expect between 25-40 travel days per year. This includes participation at business networking events such as air shows and conferences.
