Role Overview
The Head of New Business Sales will be responsible for driving the acquisition of new clients and expanding our market presence. You will initiate contact and establish relationships with a wide range of financial institutions to introduce Parameta's unique OTC market data offering. You will need to be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership, a deep understanding of the sales process, and the ability to motivate and lead a high-performing sales team.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy focused on acquiring new logos and expanding market share.
- Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture that drives results.
- Proactively identify new revenue opportunities - conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth.
- Implement best practices for the sales process, ensuring efficient lead generation, qualification, and closing strategies.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align sales efforts with overall business goals. Drive contract negotiations in partnership with Legal.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
