Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with all relevant regulations. Your attention to detail and ability to analyze data will be crucial in maintaining our commitment to excellence.
Duties:
- Perform quality audits to ensure compliance with company standards and FDA regulations
- Inspect and evaluate incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
- Fabricate and maintain inspection fixtures and equipment
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify product specifications
- Analyze data and identify trends or areas for improvement
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Conduct internal audits to assess adherence to quality management systems
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results and provide reports as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in quality control
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and techniques
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) operation is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
- Knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles is preferred
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in inspections
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and make decisions based on established guidelines
