Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming environment for our clients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in office management tasks, and possess strong computer literacy.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person or department
- Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Perform various clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and organizing documents
- Manage appointments and schedules for staff members
- Assist with order entry and inventory management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Act as a personal assistant to senior staff members when required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in office administration is a plus
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role
- Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
Please note that previous experience as a dental receptionist is not required but would be considered an asset.
