We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of litigation matters, including commercial and civil cases, and support the firm’s collection efforts as needed. Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
- Manage case files, including organizing documents and maintaining deadlines.
- Handle court appearances, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Provide guidance and oversight to support staff involved in litigation-related tasks.
- Assist with collections matters, including demand letters, enforcement of judgments, and negotiations with debtors.
- Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide effective representation.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar of Florida and in good standing.
- 2 years of litigation experience preferred, including experience with depositions and court appearances.
- Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to prepare clear, persuasive arguments.
- Knowledge of collections law and procedures is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to handle a diverse caseload efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients, courts, and team members effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
