Responsibilities
- Oversee the coordination and management of all banquet events, including setup, service, and breakdown.
- Lead, train, and motivate banquet staff to ensure exceptional service and efficiency.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to design menus that meet client expectations and dietary requirements.
- Supervise the use of the POS system during events, ensuring accurate billing and efficient cash handling.
- Manage inventory and banquet-related supplies, ensuring effective budgeting and cost control.
- Develop and implement staff training programs to enhance skills in customer service and food service operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas, ensuring they are ready before, during, and after events.
- Address any guest concerns or issues promptly, ensuring a positive experience and high levels of satisfaction.
- Proven experience in banquet management or a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of motivating and managing diverse teams.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
- Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Knowledge of budgeting practices for event planning and execution.
- Experience in staff training and development is highly preferred.
- Background in food service management is an advantage; bartending experience is a plus.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
