HR Specialist
Job Description:
Our growing company located in historic Highland Park, NJ is looking for a dynamic and experienced HR Specialist to join our team on-site at TPG HR Services USA. Successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and delivering exceptional HR solutions to multiple clients across various industries. The ideal candidate is an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and possesses the ability to build strong relationships while delivering strategic HR initiatives. In addition to the office responsibilities described below, some travel to client offices is also required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
Compliance and Policy Development:
- Ensure clients adhere to all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Draft, update, and review HR policies and employee handbooks for client organizations.
Onboarding and Offboarding of Employees
- Assist in developing and executing processes for new hires and exiting employees
Employee Relations:
- Handle employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution for client teams.
- Provide guidance on disciplinary actions, terminations, and other sensitive matters.
Payroll and Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and present HR metrics to clients to drive informed decision-making.
- Assist in Payroll Processing as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certifications such as SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred).
- 5 years of HR experience, including 2 years in a consulting or client-facing role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
