Job Title: Marketing Communications Specialist II
Location: Jackson, MI (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: Until 12/2025, Opportunity for Extension
Department: IT & Security – Organizational Change Management & Security Awareness
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with co-workers' communications to help with companywide communications
- Reporting through teams
- Presentations build out
- Assist with helping to drive phishing click rates down
- Working in security awareness - '1 person show' with some limited oversight
- Working with team, help with communication and brand/language
- Comfortable presenting - building security advocates group (throughout the company have identified people who are grabbing material information, click rates, and they are taking that information back to the team to advocate on behalf of the program to prevent phishing attack, malware, etc.)
- Skill set to identify key objective, educating
- Working with instructional designers who will doing the buildout
- MS suite, SharePoint experience is desired
- Write articles and post on SharePoint site
- Build out digital signage for internal employees
Skills Required
- Experience with internal communications
- Draft, edit, proofreading experience
- Technically savvy in terms of being interested in technology
- Providing examples of writing samples are highly desired
- Driving phishing click rates down
- HS diploma
- Someone who has a creative background in Adobe creative suite, graphic design, etc. might also be a good fit
- Power Automate experience is desired to build workflows
- Background in internal communications and marketing
- Great communication skills
- Technical witting ability
- Ability to pay a lot of attention to detail in their work and others - do a lot of work where they are proofreading and editing
