Responsibilities
- Administer Microsoft SQL Server environments (2012–2019) on HP physical and virtual servers running Windows Server (2012–2019).
- Manage data environments, modernize complex legacy SQL code, and support new development efforts.
- Organize and document data processes effectively.
- Design standards for physical data storage, access, maintenance, and security.
- Perform backup and recovery operations, configure database parameters, and prototype designs against logical data models.
- Define data repository requirements, data dictionaries, and warehousing needs.
- Optimize database access and manage resource allocation for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Attend and participate in assigned onsite project meetings.
- Report to the database manager, with possible direct reporting to the deputy director.
- Provide after-hours availability for planned activities and on-call support.

- Data normalization, aggregation, concurrency, and modeling

Strong data modeling skills including:
