Position Description
The Senior Technical Lead ensures IT architectural integrity and serves as the interface between systems developers and IT project managers.
Responsibilities include :
Leading IT architecture and infrastructure design
Aligning IT with business goals and processes
Developing reference models and maintaining IT repository
Identifying gaps between current and target architecture and creating transition plans
Defining policies to guide enterprise technology decisions
Improving enterprise systems and integrating emerging technologies
Providing architecture guidance and support to IT project teams
Documenting business units and key processes using modeling techniques
Ensuring technical integration and participating in test planning and validation
Evaluating enterprise architecture impact on IT investments and business operations
Conducting governance and compliance activities
Applying security and assurance policies to enterprise architecture
Skills Required
IT infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and program management expertise
Experience aligning IT specifications with business requirements
Knowledge of project management, enterprise architecture, and IT disciplines
Strong documentation, communication, and report-writing skills
Skills Preferred
AutoCAD proficiency for creating system schematics and layouts
Knowledge of BICSI, TIA / EIA standards
Ability to create Bill of Materials (BOMs)
Experience in low-voltage systems , including : Structured cabling (copper & fiber), Access control systems, Video surveillance (CCTV), Audio-visual systems.
Knowledge of network infrastructure , including : Network topologies, IP addressing, Switches and network hardware.
Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Experience Required
7 years aligning IT systems with business processes
4 years in a lead role
Experience Preferred
3 years (within last 5 years) in low-voltage system design (network cabling, CCTV, intrusion, paging)
Relevant certifications : BICSI RCDD, NICET
3–5 years of experience with AutoCAD drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering (or equivalent experience on a year-for-year basis)
