Public Space /House Aide– Margaritaville Beach Resort

Key Responsibilities include: ** Public Space Inspector and Floor Specialist experience a plus**
Quality and Cleanliness Maintenance:
- Maintain the highest standards to ensure quality and cleanliness in public spaces, offices, meeting rooms, and other required areas.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met and maintained.
Waste Management:
- Empty and clean ashtrays and trash cans to ensure proper waste disposal and sanitation.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas according to established procedures.
Surface Sanitization:
- Wipe down and sanitize door handles and other frequently touched surfaces to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a hygienic environment.
- Conduct routine sanitization of surfaces in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Assistance with Housekeeping:
- Assist housekeeping staff as necessary to ensure efficient cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and common areas.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Keep all janitorial equipment properly maintained, clean, and free of marks to ensure optimal functionality and appearance.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to appropriate leadership for prompt resolution.
Bathroom Cleaning:
- Clean all bathrooms in assigned areas according to established procedures to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Handle biohazardous materials safely and dispose of them properly according to health and safety guidelines.
Health, Safety, and Sanitation Compliance:
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times to ensure a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff.
- Adhere to established protocols for handling hazardous materials and cleaning chemicals.
Maintenance Reporting:
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to leadership promptly to facilitate timely resolution and prevent potential hazards or disruptions.
What you will bring:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Six (6) months of housekeeping experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Works well with co-workers and leaders.
- Ability to walk/stand for long hours.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
