What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packager position at TPI Staffing Group?
In immediate need of a Packager in the Claremont, NH area. This is a full time first shift position offering $17.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide variety of packaging tasks including the roll stock machines, slicers and the vacuum machines
- Move products and materials as required in performance of duties
- Maintain quality and quantity performance standards
- Visually check work after completion for cosmetic appearance and noticeable defects
- Maintain necessary records
- Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean, orderly, and operable condition
- May be assigned to different work stations as production needs require
Requirements:
- Good physical shape (able to lift 50 pounds)
- Autonomy, versatility, thoroughness, and resourcefulness
- Good speed of execution (fast paced environment)
- Strong commitment to teamwork and concern for others
- High level of personal responsibility and ownership
- Highly detail oriented and meticulous
- Basic mathematical skills
- Must be able to work in a cold environment
- Wear clean smock, hair net, bump cap, sleeves, gloves and safety boots at all times.
- Able to read and follow detailed procedures
- Follow safe work practices
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:30pm
