Department: operational technology (team does Operations and IT)
team performs supervisory control acquisitions - front end development and back end and day to date project work that keeps the screen up to date so they can control the natural gas system
undergoing the commissioning for state-of-the-art SCADA system - performing an upgrading from a system from early 90's - a lot of structured and unstructured user acceptance testing
5 individuals - 1 SCADA engineer will be assigning the deliverables and will be working with both analysts closely
technology migrating from is SciTech and migrating to OSI Monarch
Responsibilities:
cross functional role - commissioning the system - needs in person interaction
will focus more on structured testing - higher level requirements for reporting out defects and bugs
articulate bugs and communicate recommended action items moving forward to stakeholders
Skills:
5 years
SCADA experience preferred - development or supporting SCADA systems
4-year degree required
high technical proficiency - broad range of software or software development, commissioning,
broad familiarity with test tools and methodologies
Excel spreadsheets, ADO (Azure DevOps)
strong communication skills and ability to problem solve
