Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
- Apply paint using various techniques including spray, brush, and roller methods.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols while working with hazardous materials.
- Maintain and operate power tools and equipment used in the painting process.
- Inspect finished work for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments or touch-ups.
- Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and specifications.
- Keep accurate records of materials used and work completed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Industrial Painter or similar role in a construction or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of industrial painting techniques and safety practices.
- Familiarity with power tools and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to painting projects.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to paint coverage.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for understanding equipment operation.
