Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Sorter to join our team. This position involves organizing and sorting materials according to established guidelines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort and organize materials according to strict classification guidelines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the sorting process
• Follow established safety protocols and procedures at all times while maintaining productivity targets
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate smooth operations and workplace safety
• Report any safety concerns or irregularities to supervisors in a timely manner
• Operate basic power tools as needed for material handling and processing
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve department goals

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move 50-75 pounds regularly throughout the shift
• Capable of standing for extended periods while performing sorting duties
• Physical stamina for repetitive movements and consistent material handling
• Manual dexterity for handling various materials and tools with precision

Required Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and demonstrated commitment to accuracy
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record
• Basic understanding of power tools and their components
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and sorting guidelines
• Strong work ethic and dependability in a fast-paced environment

• Proper use of required PPE, including steel-toed boots

Work Environment

• Fast-paced warehouse/industrial setting
• Full-time position
• May involve exposure to various environmental conditions
