We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Production Line Manager with expertise in cold storage environments and forklift operation to oversee and manage our production processes. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient and smooth production operations, maintain safety standards, optimize workflows, and supervise a team while handling cold storage logistics and forklift operations as needed. It is a plus if you can speak in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities may include:
- Oversee daily operations of the production line, ensuring smooth, efficient, and timely production.
- Monitor and control production schedules, ensuring that orders are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Supervise production staff, providing direction, training, and support to maximize productivity and quality.
- Implement and enforce all company policies and procedures, particularly related to safety and cold storage protocols.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with cold storage safety standards, including temperature control and inventory rotation.
- Monitor product movement through cold storage areas to maintain proper stock levels and FIFO (First In, First Out) systems.
- Supervise the loading and unloading of products from cold storage, ensuring proper handling and storage conditions.
- Maintain inventory records and collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate stock management.
- Operate forklifts to transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment within the production area and cold storage.
- Ensure safe forklift operations, adhering to all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
- Train and supervise team members on safe forklift operation practices.
