We are currently accepting applications for rising juniors and seniors for participation in our paid, 11-week summer internship program centrally located at TRAC Intermodal's corporate headquarters in Princeton, NJ.

Your Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team and support our data entry and billing functions. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage tasks efficiently and contribute to improving processes. The intern will work closely with the Billing team and other departments to ensure accurate data entry, analysis, and reporting. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data management, billing operations, and process improvement within a dynamic organizational setting
What You'll Do
Core day-to-day responsibilities may include but are not limited to any of the following :
- Enter alpha / numeric information into the company database with accuracy and efficiency.
- Verify and scan input data to ensure error-free processing.
- Collaborate with team members to identify ways to enhance data collection methods and database outcomes.
- Conduct research and gather documentation from various databases.
- Generate and distribute reports for operational, field, and pool activities.
- Identify and resolve system issues while contributing to process improvements.
- Work with the Billing team to understand billing processes, including third-party activity and touch counts.
- Compile and analyze data to create billing profiles, outlining days and dollars billed to third-party customers and affiliated motor carriers.
- Monitor changes in volume and accuracy and identify optimal focus areas for each customer.
