HR Coordinator Job Overview:
The HR Coordinator will support the daily operations of the HR Department. This person will perform clerical and administrative duties pertaining to hiring, benefits, learning management system, employee events and various HR projects.
You’ll be a great fit if:
- You can conduct a structured new hire orientation program covering company overview, policies, safety procedures, and ensuring the completion of necessary paperwork
- You are able to support the onboarding process by maintaining new hire checklists, providing pre-boarding information, and assisting with the creation of new hire folders, binders, and gifts
- You can help review candidates' resumes and conduct phone screens to assess their fit for the role, documenting key information to determine if they should proceed to the next hiring stage as well as schedule in-person interviews with key stakeholders
- You can coordinate job fair preparation by ordering supplies, organizing/prepping materials, and assisting with booth setup and teardown
- You are able to assist with Health & Wellness programs administrative duties
- You are able to assist in performance review administrative tasks
- You are able to assist with the Learning Management System and internal employee training
- You can verify employment of employees as requested
- You can help maintain employee files
- You can help maintain compensation data through market analysis
- You are able to coordinate company events such as monthly lunches, Christmas parties, and general catering
- You are able to assist with various HR projects
- You can help maintain the company’s social media presence by collaborating with Marketing and uploading new posts
- You are able to follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations, maintaining departmental housekeeping standards
- You can stay up to date on HR laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- You can perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of HR processes and best practices
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor's degree in HR or similar degree preferred
- At least 1 years of experience in HR field, experience in manufacturing environment preferred
