We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. The candidate will work in our store. This role is crucial in providing exceptional service to our visitors, enhancing their experience at the farm, and ensuring their needs are met.
Starting pay is $16.00/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors.
- Have a thorough understanding of merchandise.
- Maintain a positive and engaging atmosphere for all guests.
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Promote events to enhance visitor engagement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive customer experience.
- Stay informed about animal care, conservation efforts, and educational programs offered by the farm.
- Conduct regular cleaning and maintenance of visitor areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or customer service is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer is welcome.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle different situations with patience and professionalism.
- Passion for wildlife and conservation is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer skills and experience with point-of-sale systems preferred.
