Job Title: NIPRNet Server Lead

Job Responsibilities

Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a NIPRNet Server Lead to support, manage, and oversee the network for the 61 CS BOS-IT contract in Los Angeles, CA.

The Job Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the server, backup, database, and data storage environment for NIPRNet, with expertise in managing HP, VMWare, MS Server, and Linux systems.
• Additional responsibilities, e.g., leading the Server/Database team, advising on projects, keeping the Government abreast of equipment lifecycle, providing technical solutions.
• Responsible for developing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining a standardized maintenance program for all contractor-supported government equipment based on DoD and AF guidance, industry standards and/or best practices, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) service manuals, AF Technical Orders (TO), and established local procedures.
• Direct and manage projects, tasks, personnel, and other resources (both internally and externally) while being a liaison among customers and employees.
• Use key performance parameters to monitor work performance, measure results, ensure delivery of contracted services, support management and decision-making, and facilitate communications.
• Identify risks, resolve problems, and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Develop technical solutions and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates and submit CIPs to meet new requirements or solve unique network or equipment problems.
• Other duties as required.
  
  

Work is performed full-time on site in Los Angeles, CA.

In compliance with California's Pay Transparency requirements, the following information is being disclosed. If the position applied to is not located in California, the following information may not apply. The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the Trace salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition, Trace provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, flexible spending accounts, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, company holidays and paid time off (PTO).

Salary Minimum: $70,000

Salary Maximum: $120,700

Minimum Qualifications

• Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
• Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• FITSP-O or GFACT or CASP or CCNP Security or CCSP or VMWare: VCTA-DCV or equivalent certification or higher or Microsoft: MCSA or equivalent certification or higher or Linux: Linux or equivalent certification or higher.
  
  

Education

• BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution OR a minimum of 11 years of relevant experience.
