Distribution Center Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying against bills of lading and packing slips.
• Take inventory of merchandise, checking quantity and maintaining accurate records.
• Identify, separate, label, and palletize merchandise, processing documents and relocating items to designated areas.
• Process UPS inbound shipments and supply orders, picking store supplies and preparing them for shipment.
• Perform cycle counts, investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as assigned.
• Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Inspect equipment daily, utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
