We’re Looking for an ‘A’ Player
We're seeking a Controller to join our team. In this role The Controller will be responsible for establishing, documenting and enforcing accounting policies and procedures within the organization. This position oversees the overall accounting operations for Tractor Zoom and reports directly to the CFO.
Responsibilities:
Accounting
- Oversee the accounting operations
- Identify areas for improvement
- Implement and monitor internal controls and accounting policies
- Maintaining and calculating all commissions within the company
- Complete payroll processing
Financial Reporting
- Preparation of timely and accurate internal and external financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Work with the executive team in preparation of financial performance metrics
External Auditors
- Assist CFO with coordinating activities of the external auditors
Tax Compliance
- Oversee regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance with state and federal tax requirements
Budget
- Assist the CFO in preparation and maintenance of the annual budget. Prepare periodic variance reports and investigate discrepancies

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5-7 years of progressively increasing accounting experience
- CPA required
- SaaS experience preferred
- Extensive experience in preparing consolidated financial statements, budgets and management of overall general ledger.
- Demonstrates ability to effectively compile and analyze data and information and make appropriate decisions and recommendations.
- Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally to internal and external stakeholders
- Advanced knowledge in utilizing Quickbooks, spreadsheets, tools, and Internet-based systems and programs.
- General knowledge of Salesforce.
