Job Description:
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Tracy Chamber of Commerce is responsible for leading the organization's operations, programs, and services. The CEO ensures the Chamber's mission to promote economic growth, support local businesses, and enhance community development is fulfilled.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Chamber's strategic vision in alignment with the Board of Directors' goals.
- Provide strong leadership to staff, volunteers, and committees to achieve the Chamber's mission.
- Cultivate relationships with Chamber members, local businesses, government officials, and community organizations.
- Represent the Chamber at public meetings, networking events, and industry conferences.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a Chamber of Commerce, non-profit organization, or business-related organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economic Development, or related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of economic development, public policy, and business advocacy.
Working Environment:
This position is an on-site position. Business hours are generally 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. This position must be flexible with their schedule and possess a valid driver's license since it will require traveling.
