We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our clients team in Stockton, CA. This role oversees Accounting, Dispatch, Human Resources, Safety, Shop, and transportation ensuring seamless operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership :
Develop and implement operational strategies to drive efficiency, growth, and profitability.
Partner with the executive team to align business goals and foster long-term success.
Operational Oversight :
Lead the Accounting, Dispatch, Human Resources, Safety, Shop and transportation departments, ensuring adherence to industry standards and company policies.
Monitor and optimize daily operations to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
Process Improvement :
Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices across all departments.
Leverage data analytics tools to drive informed decision-making and performance tracking.
Team Development :
Mentor and develop department leaders to create a high-performing, cohesive team.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Hands-On Approach :
Roll up your sleeves to understand the intricacies of the business, from dispatch operations to fleet maintenance and financial reporting so you can help optimize these departments.
Qualifications
Industry Experience : Proven experience in operations leadership within the transportation or waste management industries.
Technical Skills :
Desired proficiency in QuickBooks, Mathaul, Dossier, Domo, and Power BI.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on data insights.
Leadership :
Exceptional ability to lead and inspire teams while maintaining a hands-on approach.
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
Compensation $175,000-$225,000 a year plus bonuses. Willing to relocate the right candidate.
