Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Effectively fulfill job assignments as described on the department job assignment sheet.
- Work effectively as a team member with other department staff as needed.
- Mechanical experience and good working knowledge with the following:
>Rotary transmission system
>Lubrication techniques
>Troubleshoot
>Conveyance system
>Read calibrations
- Fluid Power experience and good working knowledge with the following:
>Hydraulics: Pumps, Valve, Piping, cylinder
>Pneumatics: Source, Valve, Piping, Vacuum Components,
High Pressure, Cylinders
- Electric/Electronics experience and good working knowledge with the following:
>Electricity
*Schematic reading
*AC/DC
*Ohm's Law
*Wiring
*Conduit
*Motor Starters
*Fuses
>PLC
*Ability to communicate with machine.
*Ladder logic reading
*Troubleshoot
*Programming
- General knowledge of calipers, tape measure, blueprints, hand tools, volt meters, amp probe, power tools and basic shop equipment
- Preventative Maintenance
- Understands and follows the ISO 14001 Environmental System
- Understands and follows the ISO IATF / 16949 Quality Management System
- Understands and follows the Safety Management System
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance from an accredited institution or three to five years’ experience in a manufacturing setting.
