What are the responsibilities and job description for the Feed Sales Position position at Trade Comm?
Feed Sales Position – This position will allow you to express your knowledge of cattle feed sales. You must be a self-motivated, customer-focused, and goal-oriented salesperson with excellent communication skills.
Target areas -
Joplin/4 State area. We also have other areas available for the right person.
Job Duties –
You must spend most of your time traveling to locate any and all potential customers in your area and abroad. This could include overnight stays.
Locating and identifying potential customers for sales of cattle feed and other various feed ingredient needs.
You will be trained in pricing and will be able to provide customers with pricing on a variety of feed and/or feed ingredients.
Developing relationships. Also, it includes continuous follow-up with regular customers to obtain weekly orders.
Qualifications -
Professional appearance for the job at hand.
Outside sales experience in cattle feed is a plus
Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to build business relationships.
Must be self-motivated, a self-starter, problem solver, innovative, and have the ability to work unsupervised.
Team player. Ability to grow with colleagues and customers.
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
***This is a full-time position Monday-Friday, with phone accessibility on weekends.
