Job Overview
We are seeking a trade professional to oversee & support trade compliance functions in both imports and exports for our client in Lincoln, NE . This position is in office working for a dynamic company with room for growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in trade compliance, primarily working on exports with some imports.
Some relocation assistance will be provided if necessary.
Responsibilities
- Support the local Business Unit for trade compliance
- Full responsibility to support/guide/audit all Compliance Trade Issues within multiple business units
- Assist with preparing ITAR licenses (DSP’s, TAA, MLA’s) to be filed
- Work with Customs/Brokers on paperwork/regulations
- Will audit records, work with Customers & assist with Denied Party Screening
- Strong communication skills (Verbal & Written) & Microsoft Office skills – especially Excel
- Will assist with procedures/training manuals
- Ensure proper classifications on all products
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred or equivalent experience
- Experience with both imports & exports
- Hands on ITAR licensing a plus, at a minimum must fully understand export licensing requirements.
- Comfortable training & working with Customers/Sales groups
- Experience with Gov’t & State agencies – CBP, BIS, OFAC
- Extensive experience in Microsoft applications – especially Excel

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
