Overview:
Participates, reviews, and assists in document control, material purchasing, and quality control for the company’s vessel fabrication business.
Responsibilities:
- Become familiar in the company’s job flow process
- Assist team with procuring materials
- Assist team with preparing and reviewing data books for projects
- Obtain bid number from estimating group & create new bid folder on network
- Monitor document control email and disperse emails accordingly
- Send and log job files to the company network
- Create transmittal letters to attach with job files
Qualifications:
- Ability to professionally communicate with clients and vendors
- Knowledge of fabrication is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good communication and organization skills
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
