Overview:
The QC Intern is responsible for assisting the QC department with daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Attend weekly safety meetings
- Assist QC department with review of data documents
- Assist QC department with monitoring welding parameters in the shops, performing inspections, marking up spools, and reviewing radiograph film
- Assist Document Control as needed with quality control documents for each project
- Comply with all Company Core Safety Rules, policies and procedures.
- Report any unsafe conditions wherever they exist to the safety department, their supervisor, or the management of Trade Construction immediately
- Report all incidents/accidents/injuries involving the health and wellbeing of any employee to management immediately
Required Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Work with minimal day to day guidance; self-motivated to achieve the position’s responsibilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively with other employees and departments
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiar with welding terminology
