The Opportunity
As an Industrial Equipment Operator (Tank Farm Operator) with Tradebe, you will be responsible for movements and transfers of incoming and outgoing tanks/tankers at our wastewater treatment plant in Stoughton, MA.
This role will be working on the second shift, Monday-Friday from 12PM-8PM EST.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Handle Material Transfers – Load and unload tankers, tanks, trucks, and railcars while ensuring proper movement tracking.
- Monitor & Maintain Equipment – Operate, inspect, and assist with maintaining pumps, valves, storage systems, and related equipment.
- Conduct Sampling & Tracking – Perform drum compatibility tests and track processed drums for accurate record-keeping.
- Support Facility Operations – Oversee treatment and storage equipment, monitor gauges and dials, and assist with daily inspections.
- Maintain Compliance Standards – Participate in compliance activities, including LDAR, VOC emissions monitoring, and secondary containment maintenance.
- Ensure Safety & Compliance – Maintain strict adherence to EHS regulations, internal policies, and RCRA permit requirements while promoting a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- One year of hazardous waste industry experience is desirable
- Working knowledge of DOT/RCRA regulations a plus
- One year Tank Farm experience is a plus
- Forklift operations experience
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check, are required
- Ability to work the schedule for which you are hired for
- Ability to work on-site as described in the job description
