What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solar Installer - Apprentice position at Tradeco Construction?
Tradeco Construction is currently seeking Solar Installers for projects near Dillwyn, VA.
You will be joining as a DOL Approved Apprentice and will be required to complete online classes.
No experience necessary. You will receive online and hands on training.
This is a new ground mount build.
As an Installer, you will be responsible for day-to-day field installation of mechanical hardware, racking components, wiring assemblies, and solar modules.
Must be able to work 40-50hrs./week (weather permitting)

Qualifications
- Previous experience in PV installations, general construction, or carpentry proffered
- Experience with the safe use of handheld and power tools
- Interest in safety is a must; OSHA 10 preferred (we can assist with this)
- Must be able to work in extreme weather/field conditions including cold, wet, & muddy
- Must be able to lift 50Lbs.
