Position : Senior Project Manager (for Commercial General Contractor)
Our client is a fast-growing Nashville Commercial General Contractor operating throughout the Southeast United States.
They are interviewing for a Senior Project Manager with at least 8 years of experience in commercial construction working for a General Contractor directly.
We are looking to identify someone who has experience running up to $5M size projects specializing in : new ground up retail, office space, commercial, restaurants, shopping centers, and big box facilities.
The SPM is responsible for overseeing all project related estimates & budgets, all construction site operations, safety procedures, leading the project with the superintendent regarding : scheduling, business development, customer relationships, and quality control for each project.
This role will require a strong ability to lead, teach others, and set the bar for project management team and field operations team.
Necessary Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 8 years of Commercial Project Management experience required running multiple projects (4-5) simultaneously over the size of $1Million
- Strong ability to understand plans, estimate projects, and extensive project management experience with a General Contractor
- Strong knowledge in sitework and building construction
- Must have experience as a Project Manager with a General Contractor
