What You’ll Do
As a Project Coordinator you’re responsible for managing and coordinating various aspects of the projects within Trader Interactive. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
- Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop project plans, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables. Create detailed project schedules and timelines
- Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources, including product & technology personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure they are available when needed throughout the project. Monitor and reconcile resource capitalization for the product and technology organizations on an ongoing basis.
- Communication: Serve as a central point of contact for project-related communications. Keep stakeholders informed about project progress, issues, and risks through regular status updates, meetings, and reports
- Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks to the project and develop risk mitigation strategies. Monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle and take action to address them as needed
- Task Coordination: Coordinate tasks and activities among project team members, ensuring that everyone understands their responsibilities and deadlines
- Quality Assurance: Monitor project activities to ensure they meet quality standards
- Budget Tracking: Track project expenses and expenditures to ensure they stay within budget. Report any budget variances to project managers and stakeholders
- Issue Resolution: Identify and address project issues and roadblocks that may hinder progress. Work with the project team to find solutions and keep the project on track
- Change Management: Handle change requests and assess their impact on the project's scope, schedule, and budget. Ensure proper approval and documentation for any changes
- Reporting and Metrics: Generate and maintain project performance reports and metrics. Use these reports to evaluate project progress and provide insights for decision-making
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including executives, team members, clients, and vendors. Address their concerns and keep them engaged throughout the project
- Support in the development and maintenance of the project schedule such as tracking project changes, including scope and timeline
- In coordination with the project team identify, resolve and mitigate project issues
- Assist project managers with project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Monitor project progress and report updates to relevant stakeholders
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting action items
- Track project deliverables, timelines, and budgets to ensure adherence to project plans
- Foster clear communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical teams
- Support the technical team by managing documentation and ensuring requirements are clear and accessible
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2 Experience in a project coordination or support role, preferably in a technical environment
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Experience with technology development projects
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written and interpersonal
- Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
Bonus Points:
- Experience in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Microsoft Project, Trello)
