JOB SUMMARY
The Campus Pastor (CP) is the primary leader and vision-caster for the campus, championing for alignment with TPCC Values, Beliefs and Behaviors. The CP is responsible for replicating the DNA of TPCC at the campus by leading teams who strive to remove unnecessary barriers that keep people from Jesus. The CP leads teams who help people know Jesus and take their next step of discipleship. The CP is responsible for the overall health & growth of the campus.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as direct supervisor to campus youth, kids, guest experience, and groups staff/lead and maintains a dotted-line supervisory positions to the campus worship leader and technical director

Provide oversight of effective execution of TPCC strategies and tactics at the campus

Provide oversight to meet the pastoral care needs of the campus

Provide oversight to and stewardship of the daily operations of the campus and campus staff
DUTIES/PRIMARY JOB PRODUCTS

Be a model of and the champion for TPCC markers of engagement
-
Ensure engagement pathway is healthy and effective at the campus
-
Oversee campus staff, volunteers, and guests and ensure an understanding and alignment with TPCC vision, beliefs, values and behaviors

Provide visible weekend leadership which includes hosting weekend gatherings, lobby presence, connecting with guests and leaders and leading First Step
-
Ensure prompt guest follow up and connection through timely responses to questions and information requests via email, TPCC website, church kiosks, Info Central and other inquiries

Develop community relations projects to connect with and serve the people around the campus

Prepare and steward the campus budget so that resources are appropriately allocated

Ensure effectively functioning and unified campus staff

Manage and provide oversight of the campus staff which includes hiring, training, resourcing, developing pastoral roles, supervising, and evaluating direct reports in consultation with the People Department

Provide pastoral care and support for campus staff

Perform other duties as required.

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

This position reports directly to: Campus Ministry Pastor

Collaborate closely with the central ministry leads
-
Participate as a full member of the pastoral staff, attending such meetings and special events as required
-
Work toward fulfillment of above job products in context of ministry team(s), composed of member-ministers who themselves are leading and being equipped to effectively lead

Serve in rotations assuming normally expected roles of a pastor: weddings, funerals, teaching, weekend hosting, preaching, general pastoral counseling, premarital counseling and hospital visits

Serve as direct supervisor of the campus staff in the following areas: Groups, Kids, Youth, Guest Experience

Maintain harmonious relationships with other staff members, facilitating inter-team collaboration and Kingdom collaboration between other churches and ministries

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
-
Bachelor’s degree in ministry or related field required
-
2 years’ experience working in Campus Ministry preferred

Experience and demonstrated understanding of ministry culture and outreach strategies

Demonstrated passion and gifting in the areas of evangelism, discipleship and pastoral care
