Your Role as a Lead AV Technician :
As a Lead Audio / Visual Technician , you will oversee AV installations in commercial environments, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to industry standards . Responsibilities include :
Leading and managing a team of AV installers.
Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting audio, video, and control systems .
Mounting and terminating projectors, displays, speakers, and AV racks .
Pulling, labeling, and terminating Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cables .
Coordinating with Project Managers and General Contractors .
Conducting system tests and providing final commissioning.
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations .
Background Profile :
3-5 years of experience as an AV Technician, with at least 2 years in a leadership role .
Proficiency in AV system installation, termination, and troubleshooting .
Experience with Crestron, Extron, Biamp, AMX, and other AV control systems .
Familiarity with structured cabling and low-voltage wiring .
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and AV drawings .
Strong leadership and team management skills .
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities .
OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred).
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check .
