What You Will Be Doing

The VP, SBA Closing and Servicing Manager plans, directs, administers and manages day-to-day activities and functions of the SBA Lending Department from loan application evaluation and loan approval to closing, ensuring all SBA closing requirements are satisfied and that SBA guaranty is secure. Responsible for oversight of daily operations to ensure compliance with SBA and TCB guidelines for cohesiveness. Also responsible for overall portfolio support including processing change requests in accordance with SBA regulations as well as submitting various SBA required reporting.

  • Leadership, Management & Accountability (LMA): Leads, guides, manages, trains, and assists support team to optimize efficiencies and hold team accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments and demonstrating a One Team mentality. Maintains a strong leadership presence, motivating staff and building commitment to the Bank’s priorities and direction.
  • Process & Systems: Establishes and administers processes and procedures to ensure bank compliance with all established SOP’s to ensure SBA guarantee and Preferred SBA Lender Status is maintained. Audit all loan packages to ensure that SBA terms and conditions are fully met in accordance with the SBA Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manual.
  • Product & Service Implementation: Collaborate with Chief Technology Officer and the VP of Product Development Officer to develop and implement new products and services that deliver value to TCB and our clients.
  • Collaboration: Effectively interact and develop relationships with both internal and external partners to ensure timely production of loans. Holds team accountable for delivering an exceptional client experience consistent with our Client Service Standards (defect free, timely and caring).

  • Must have a strong working knowledge of all banking industry polices and deposit operations regulatory compliance including, but not limited to: ACH, check, Reg E, Reg CC, BSA, and OFAC.
  • Is accountable for demonstrating compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, Privacy of Consumer Financial Information and all other federal and state rules and regulations as it pertains to their position at the bank.

Professional & Educational Experience You Bring

A Bachelor’s Degree from four-year College or University and 5-7 years of experience in banking operations and minimum of 2 years management or leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

For this position, we anticipate a pay range between $93,000 and $139,000 annually. Final offers will vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on individual and Bank performance.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to type, carry, handle and feel objects, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and more with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception in the window environment and the ability to adjust focus.
  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • Local travel may be required.
