Automotive Payroll and Accounting Clerk – Tradition Chevrolet of Newark
Tradition Chevrolet of Newark is seeking an experienced accounting clerk to join our busy team! Accounting experience in the automotive industry is preferred. Applicants must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment as well as be a team player. We are offering a competitive compensation and benefits package based on experience!
$18-$20 an hour based on experience as well as benefits available including Medical, dental, 401k & paid vacations! Also,

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Payroll processing
- Payroll posting
- Submitting 401K paperwork
- Office supply orders
- Processing mail
- HR related duties
- Monthly sales tax
- Quarterly taxes
- Covering others on vacation
- Filing
- Cross train in accounting
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in computer software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, etc.
- Ability to securely store or discard documents and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
