Automotive Repair and Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and servicing vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to execute repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Align vehicles as needed to ensure proper handling and tire wear.
• Work with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for calibration and repairs.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems within vehicles.
• Execute welding tasks when necessary for structural repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.

Skills

• Proficient in automotive diagnostics with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Ability to align vehicles accurately for optimal performance.
• Experience working with ADAS technology is a plus.
• Competent in reading schematics for electrical systems in vehicles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
