Job Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years healthcare sales experience, with an emphasis in home health and hospice
Proven track record of positive sales performance
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Mentoring and coaching sales representatives
Meet sales goals by monitoring progress
Analyze sales data
Develop Budgets
Strong sense of customer service and excellent industry specific problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively utilize CRM to maintain and develop assigned territory
Transportation: Reliable transportation and valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance.
Environmental and Working Conditions:
Works in a variety of settings and office environments, promoting functioning and coordination with all agency activities to insure the highest level of professional care. Ability to work a flexible schedule. May be required to perform field visits and/or tasks associated with delegated positions in organization.
Physical and Mental Effort:
Prolonged sitting and some standing may be required. Occasional need to lift, pull, carry and push items weighing up to 50 lbs. Frequent need to stoop, kneel, and reach while accessing files. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and agency needs. Requires excellent problem-solving skills and team building skills. Redirection and counseling of direct reports as indicated. Capable of gathering and analyzing branch data to keep branch in alignment with budgetary goals. Ability to prioritize and multitask assignments.
Essential Functions:
Effectively demonstrate the mission, vision and values of Traditions Health daily.
Effectively partners with VP of Sales and Regional Director of Sales on identifying, penetrating and transitioning new business and referral sources to help the agencies in growing business.
Achieves individual territory admission goals
Develop, maintain and execute territory plan so that territory Achieves assigned branch admission goals
Makes sufficient number of sales calls to meet with 8-10 decision makers per day
Responsible for assisting in new hire sales orientation and field sales training as defined by the Regional Vice President of Sales.
Provides marketing leadership and support to assigned branches to enable them to meet business objectives, increase market awareness, implement strategies, create sales and marketing plans, build, expand and achieve admission and census goals
Manage, develop, coach and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI targets are met
Regularly scheduled calls, meetings, ride-along, etc. as needed to address opportunities within assigned territory
Demonstrates the technical selling skills and product knowledge necessary for the to effectively present the agency’s value
Assists with development and implementation of quarterly Strategic Business Plans
Has a working knowledge of community resources/vendors. Develops networking relationships in the community
Identifies and appropriately resolves referral source concerns
Works collaboratively with operations to create a cohesive team, identify sales opportunities, establish relationships with referral sources and ensure operations and sales growth strategies are aligned.
Maintains accurate expense reports, weekly territory reports and account profile sheets. Ensure expense reports are submitted on a timely basis
Attends weekly sales calls/meetings
Complies with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies governing sales referrals and other sales-related activities
