What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Aides Weekends position at Traditions Home Health Services?
Traditions Home Health Services is currently seeking compassionate, skilled, reliable, and experienced female Home Health Aide to assist with our geriatric aged male client in the Malden area.
Available Shifts:
Saturday and Sunday
8am-8pm
HHA Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting with daily living activities, including toileting, incontinence care, bathing, dressing, grooming, nail care, oral hygiene, and skin integrity maintenance.
- As an awake overnight the CNA would monitor client continuously during the shift, this is an awake overnight shift.
- Monitoring vital signs, facilitating daily exercises according to the client's care plan, performing range of motion exercises.
- Preparing healthy, fresh meals in accordance with the client's care plan and ensuring adequate fluid intake throughout the shift.
- Adhering to infection control protocols.
- Administering medication reminders and assisting with the application of eye drops, ointments, creams, and ear drops.
- Conducting household support such as laundry, folding, putting away clothes, changing sheets, vacuuming, washing dishes, and dusting to maintain a safe and clean home environment for the client.
- Engaging with your client in fun, stimulating activities to create joyful moments.
- Engaging with your client in meaningful conversations
- Providing transportation for outings, errands, and appointments.
- Skilled in assisting with transfers, operating mechanical lifts, and providing catheter care.
- Proficient in dementia care.
- Competently documenting shift activities digitally using a smartphone, HHA would document electronically every hour on client's status.
- Home Health Aide would report any concerns to the Traditions Home Health Services Office Support Team in a timely manner
