What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Wellness Director position at Traditions of Beavercreek?
Assistant Wellness Director Role and Responsibilities:
- Recent experience as a Staffing Coordinator in a skilled or Assisted Living community preferred
- Working alongside the wellness director, will assist with scheduling needs
- Ability to maintain a master scheduling template for the wellness department.
- Able to work in collaboration with the nursing team, coordinating care by leveraging the team of nurses and/QMAs.
- Must be able to fill open positions on the schedule with current staff through creative methods
- Must be detail oriented, computer literate and have excellent communication skills
- Should have great 'people skills to continuously coach, mentor and manage the provision of services through nurses and care providers.
In the absence of the wellness director, hold care conferences
Follow up with families and residents any concerns that have been brought to the attention of the wellness department.
Ensure staff are following the dress code and have the tools they need to provide oversight and care of residents.
Daily rounding of resident apartment to ensure for the efficient implementation of care and safety of residents.
Daily meetings with the team to review needs for the day and plan accordingly
Assist with and/or delegation of resident assessments.
Continuous monitoring, mentoring, training and coaching of nurses/QMAs and Resident Assistants to enhance skills and quality of care.
- Share on - call rotation with wellness director and other members of the wellness team.
Other duties as may be assigned.
Staffing/Scheduling Coordinator Qualifications and Skills:
- LPN or RN with experience in an AL or SNF setting highly (Preferred)
